QUICK RESPONSE THERMOCOUPLE (QRT)
They are mainly used in Sponge iron Plant for measurement of current/present temperature of kiln zone through Ports on Kiln specially provided for this purpose. QRT are inserted & taken out in rotating kiln at regular intervals.
Process connection is ½" BSP (M) adjustable with large size round pin male & female connector. Mostly 3MM OD QRT are used.
